Tfue and Cloak from FaZe Clan secure third victory in Friday Fortnite tournament

FaZe Clan’s Tfue and Cloak Dominate Friday Fortnite Tournament Again

FaZe Clan’s dynamic duo, Turner “Tfue” Tenney and Dennis “Cloak” Lepore, showcased their skills once again as they emerged victorious in their third consecutive Friday Fortnite tournament.

The talented pair defeated some of the most popular players in the gaming community, including former champions Sypher “SypherPK” Ali and Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff, as well as the formidable team of KingRichard and AimbotCalvin.

In the grand finals, they faced off against Avery “Avxry” Lopriore and Jimmy “HighDistortion” Moreno, the winners bracket finalists. With a winners bracket advantage, Tfue and Cloak had the upper hand, forcing Avxry and HighDistortion to win multiple series to secure the tournament victory. The former champions carried over their momentum, overpowering their opponents from the losers bracket.

The series began with a dominant performance from FaZe, eliminating 20 players and building a seven-kill lead heading into the second game. Avxry and HighDistortion responded with an aggressive strategy, focusing on Tilted Towers, the most densely populated area on the map.

However, their plan backfired as the town was congested with too many players. Despite securing six kills early on, the team was eliminated after HighDistortion was knocked out and Avxry fell victim to a Clinger grenade, unaware of the danger it posed to his teammate.

This victory adds to Tfue and Cloak’s already impressive month. They won their first Friday Fortnite tournament on May 25, claiming a $10,000 prize. After a slightly disappointing performance in the following week, FaZe made a strong comeback on June 8, triumphing in the losers bracket to become the first team in tournament history to win multiple events.

Today’s tournament victory earns FaZe another $10,000, but the second and third-place teams also receive cash prizes. Avxry and HighDistortion, the runners-up, will be awarded $7,000, while TSM’s Darryle “Hamlinz” Hamlin and Ali “Myth” Kabbani, who finished in third place, will take home $3,000.

Tfue and Cloak have solidified their position as one of the best Fortnite duos worldwide with their third consecutive victory. However, their competitors will undoubtedly be more determined to dethrone them in next week’s tournament on June 29.
