Fortnite for Android Receives 30-Day Exclusivity on Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9

A New Report Suggests Fortnite Could Be Coming to Android Soon

A new report indicates that Fortnite may finally be coming to Android within the next few weeks. However, there is a catch.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Exclusive Release

If you want to play Fortnite on Android before the end of the summer, you’ll need to get the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9, according to a report by 9to5Google. Fortnite will be exclusively available on the new phone for 30 days before its release on the Android Play Store about a month later.

The report, citing an unnamed source, states that the phone will be announced on Aug. 9, with pre-orders beginning on Aug. 14 and the phone releasing on Aug. 24. If accurate, this means that Fortnite could become widely available on Android around Sept. 23.

Incentive for Fortnite Fans

In addition, the source revealed that there will be a specific incentive for purchasing the Note 9 for Fortnite enthusiasts. The phone package will include ” $100-150″ worth of V-Bucks for in-game use. For those not interested in Fortnite, another option is wireless AKG headphones.

While this information should be regarded as a rumor for now, it does provide a potential release window for Fortnite on Android.

Successful Mobile Game

The battle royale title has already achieved tremendous success on mobile, despite being exclusively available on iOS. A recent report revealed that the game is earning over $2 million per day on mobile, and this number is expected to increase even further once the Android version is released.
