Chongqing Major Announced as Second Major for Dota Pro Circuit Season

The Chongqing Major has been revealed as the second Major for this year’s Dota Pro Circuit season. Organized by StarLadder and ImbaTV, the event will feature 16 teams competing for a prize pool of $1 million and 15,000 DPC Points. The tournament will be held from January 19 to 27 in Chongqing, China.

Talent from English, Russian, and Chinese Production Teams to Provide High-Quality Production

The Chongqing Major will see a collaboration between StarLadder and ImbaTV, ensuring a great product for viewers. The English, Russian, and Chinese production teams will be on site to deliver top-notch coverage of the tournament.

Qualifier Details and Bucharest Minor Winner to Complete Team Lineup

Fifteen of the 16 teams participating in the Chongqing Major will be determined through open and regional qualifiers held from November 25 to 30 in North America, South America, Europe, CIS, China, and Southeast Asia. The final spot will go to the winner of the Bucharest Minor on January 13.

Upcoming DPC Minors and Majors to be Hosted by StarLadder

The Chongqing Major is one of the five Majors in this year’s DPC season, with the remaining two yet to be announced. Additionally, StarLadder will host two of the upcoming DPC Minors, leading up to The International 9.
