Twitch VTuber Shylily signs with talent agency Mythic Talent
Twitch VTuber Shylily has joined the recently launched talent management agency, Mythic Talent. The announcement was made on March 5 through Mythic Talent’s Twitter account.
“Independent” status maintained by Shylily despite affiliation with Mythic Talent
In the world of VTubers, Shylily will continue to be considered “independent” even after signing with Mythic Talent. This is similar to Bao and Shxtou, who signed with United Talent Agency on Aug. 17. Ironmouse also signed with UTA on Jan. 19 while maintaining her affiliation with VShojo.
Mythic Talent operates differently from traditional VTuber agencies
Unlike agencies like Hololive and Nijisanji, Mythic Talent functions more like a traditional talent agency. Their role is to provide support to talents in areas such as sponsorship, content management, and merchandising. They do not focus on managing the streamer’s brand and identity as VTuber-focused agencies typically do. Fans can expect Shylily’s content to remain the same.
Shylily expresses excitement over joining Mythic Talent
Shylily shared her enthusiasm for joining Mythic Talent on Twitter, stating, “HAPPY TO BE PART OF THE TEAM!!” and adding her iconic catchphrase, “WOMP WOMPPPPPPP!!”
Mythic Talent represents a diverse range of talents, including fellow VTuber Buffpup, as well as traditional streamers like Sodapoppin and Asmongold. The agency launched on March 1 and currently represents over 60 content creators.
Shylily’s popularity skyrocketed following her VTuber re-debut in January 2022. In just over a year, she went from having less than 30,000 followers on Twitch to surpassing the one million milestone on Jan. 18. Shylily was also nominated for VTuber of the year at The Streamer Awards, alongside Shoto, Ironmouse, and VShojo’s Veibae.
