AI-generated Asmongold mercilessly critiquing OTK’s ‘absurd’ PC-building enterprise

AI-Generated Asmongold Makes Waves on Social Media

An AI-generated version of popular streamer Asmongold has taken the internet by storm. Clips featuring the deepfake Asmongold have gone viral on social media, showcasing the streamer engaging in a Q&A with viewers on Twitch. However, some of the responses given by the AI version may have been unexpected.

The footage, which was originally shared on Asmongold’s subreddit forum, begins with a short clip of Asmongold sitting at his desk before transitioning to the computer-generated responses.

Asmongold’s Funny Take on Starforge Systems

During the Q&A, the AI-generated Asmongold was asked for his thoughts on Starforge PCs, a custom PC market partially owned by the real Asmongold and other streamers from the OTK group. In a humorous response, the deepfake streamer expressed his disinterest in expensive gaming gear and mentioned his preference for making money from Dr Pepper. However, he also acknowledged that if individuals enjoy Starforge PCs and can afford them, then more power to them.

Starforge Logo and Controversy

One of the Twitch viewers asked the AI Asmongold if he thought the Starforge logo resembled genitals and if it was intentional. The deepfake streamer humorously addressed the question, acknowledging the resemblance but downplaying its significance. He referred to it as a “war forge” logo while accepting that it could be seen as a penis by some.

The Claims Behind AI Asmongold

The deepfake AI Asmongold was presented by controversial streamer Athene, who insisted that none of the footage was prerecorded. According to Athene, the AI Asmongold was reacting to live Twitch chat comments in real-time. Athene emphasized that the AI was not publicly available and was created by themselves. The model used to generate the AI was allegedly trained on years of Asmongold’s content, with Athene even stating that it was based on Asmongold’s entire life.

Interestingly, this is not the only deepfake of Asmongold circulating online in recent days. The real Asmongold recently reacted to clips featuring an AI clone of his voice sharing an AI-generated story.

AI-generated content has become increasingly popular on Twitch, with the procedurally generated game “Nothing, Forever” amassing nearly 200,000 followers. Additionally, AI streamer Neuro-sama has developed the ability to host react streams, further showcasing the rise of AI-generated content.

Unfortunately, both video and voice cloning deepfake technology have also fallen into the wrong hands within the streaming community. This has resulted in the creation of malicious content without the knowledge or consent of the streamers involved.
