The Unique Glory of Reddit and the Frustrations it Brings
Reddit is a social media platform that offers a unique experience. It can be extremely valuable, but it also has its fair share of frustrating moments. Asmongold, a well-known content creator, recently had an encounter on Reddit that perfectly captured the annoyance of dealing with ignorant commenters online.
While reading comments on his subreddit, r/Asmongold, Asmongold became frustrated after seeing someone call Twitch “just TMZ for zoomers.” Another person stated that Asmongold had transitioned from being a video gamer streamer to a TMZ livestreamer. These comments triggered his reaction.
He expressed his frustration, saying, “This makes me so mad. I play video games non-stop, no camera, no reading donations, no thanking subs, no sponsor segments. Just gaming, gaming, gaming… And then I take 40 minutes to talk about Andrew Tate, one of the most notorious figures in the world, and somehow this is ruining everything.” His emotions overflowed as he vented about the situation.
These Reddit comments were in response to Asmongold spending around six hours playing Lost Ark on his alternate channel and discussing some current events at the end of his stream. While he initially expressed strong anger, he eventually calmed himself down when a member of his chatroom addressed his emotions.
Asmongold clarified, “I’m not actually mad. I am perturbed.”
