Kai Cenat sets new Twitch records with a little help from 21 Savage

Kai Cenat Breaks Twitch Viewership Record Again with 21 Savage Collaboration

Last month, Kai Cenat made headlines with his record-breaking viewership on Twitch when Lil Baby joined his stream. Now, he’s done it again, this time with the help of superstar rapper 21 Savage.

Today, the Atlanta-based streamer confirmed that 21 Savage, also from Atlanta, would be appearing on his stream to play NBA2k23, and fans couldn’t contain their excitement.

The tweet received nearly 30,000 likes, indicating that the stream was going to be a massive success, and it certainly was. According to TwitchTracker, the stream reached a peak viewership of 283,245, surpassing the previous record of 241,327 viewers during the Lil Baby stream.

This achievement ranks as the 89th highest peak viewership in Twitch’s history, an impressive feat considering Kai Cenat has been streaming for less than two years.

After engaging with fans and chatting for a while, Kai Cenat and 21 Savage took out their controllers and went head to head on the virtual court, captivating the hundreds of thousands of viewers.

If this NBA2k23 battle had taken place in the largest NBA arena, the United Center in Chicago, it would have exceeded the arena’s maximum capacity of 20,917 by more than ten times. This astonishing fact highlights the immense popularity of Kai Cenat, especially as he continually breaks streaming milestones.

At one point, Kai Cenat held the title of the most-subscribed streamer on Twitch, breaking the hype train record along the way. While he currently ranks third, he remains in close competition with xQc.
