Team Liquid emerged victorious over VG.J in a thrilling grand final, winning the champion’s cup and the majority of the $300,000 prize pool.
Despite an initial win from VG.J, Team Liquid showcased their experience and skill, winning the next three games and securing the overall victory.
The newly formed European lineup, with GH replacing BuLba, proved to be a successful change. With this win, Team Liquid is now in contention for a direct invite to The Kiev Major.
In addition to their prestigious trophy, Team Liquid earned $135,000 for their first place finish, while VG.J took home $60,000 as the runner-ups. TNC Pro Team and OG each received $30,000 for their top-four finishes, and Team Secret and Wings Gaming secured top-six placements and $15,000. Digital Chaos and iG Vitality rounded out the top-eight, earning $7,500 each.
