QTCinderella Reveals Motivation for Hosting Events like Sh*tCamp – It’s Not About the Money

QTCinderella Shares Motivation behind Hosting Twitch Events like ShitCamp

Twitch streamer QTCinderella recently discussed what drives her to host Twitch events like ShitCamp, debunking claims that it’s solely for monetary gain.

During an interview on Episode 256 of TMG Studios, QTCinderella addressed these allegations, explaining her true intentions.

According to QTCinderella, she has been accused of hosting these events solely for profit. However, she clarifies that she has not made a profit from any of her previous events.

“Bitch, I have not made profit off of any of my events thus far,” QTCinderella said.

She funded the first ShitCamp, which cost $70,000, entirely by herself and only broke even through merchandise sales. The second ShitCamp, costing $170,000, was covered by sponsors, but she expects minimal profit.

So, if money isn’t the main motivation, what drives QTCinderella to host these events?

QTCinderella explains, “I crave bringing people together, and no one else is doing it. There’s a huge lack of it in the streamer space, just people spending time together.”

She first noticed this void when Malena and Nmplol hosted ShitCon in 2021, which was highly appreciated by the community. QTCinderella received permission to continue the trend.

Hosting her first event brought QTCinderella immense joy. “I realized I just enjoy being with people. As adults, you don’t get that anymore,” she revealed.

However, QTCinderella acknowledges that Twitch and YouTube streamers, especially the popular ones, require incentives to attend such events due to their valuable time. “Streamers don’t show up unless they benefit in some way, like getting content,” she said.

Thus, she had to strike a balance between creating a fun gathering and making it worthwhile for the streamers. It seems like she has achieved this with ShitCamp. “I’m forcing my friends to hang out with me, but it works!” QTCinderella declared.

For these reasons, QTCinderella plans to continue hosting such events in the future.
