Asmongold’s Teeth Issues Resolved through Streaming Success
Gaming streamer Asmongold, known for his popular Twitch streams, has struggled with dental problems for years. His teeth began to deteriorate when he was a young adult due to the inability to afford dental treatment.
This dental issue was one of the main reasons why Asmongold turned to streaming. By the time he reached 25, his dental condition had worsened to the point where he was told it would cost $50,000 to fix.
As a result, he shifted his focus from making YouTube videos to streaming on Twitch, as it provided a more lucrative source of income. However, despite his success, dental issues continued to impact his streaming schedule.
The journey towards resolving his dental problems has been challenging. Asmongold underwent multiple surgeries to address the issue, often encountering complications along the way.
Fortunately, the end is in sight, as his teeth are now nearly fixed. On September 7, Asmongold shared that he had undergone his last major dental surgery and only has a few follow-up appointments remaining.
While these follow-up appointments may cause minor disruptions, they will be far less significant compared to the previous surgeries. Asmongold expressed his happiness not only about the improved functionality of his teeth but also about his appearance.
He jokingly remarked, “It’s fucking weird being able to smile in the mirror and not have my mouth look like a chessboard.” This is the first time in a decade that he can confidently say that.
Overcoming Anxiety for a Successful Dental Surgery
Prior to his final dental surgery, Asmongold confessed to feeling nervous, describing the lead-up as a three-hour panic attack during one of his streams on September 6. His anxiety stemmed from knowing that he needed to undergo four root canals.
Despite these initial fears, the surgery went well, providing Asmongold with relief and hope for the future. Fans even created a photoshopped picture, showcasing him with perfect teeth, indicating what they can expect to see in his upcoming streams.
