LazarBeam and Fresh Collaborate with Australian Developers to Create an Exciting Arena Shooter Game

Australian Streamers LazarBeam and Fresh Partner with PlaySide Studios to Create New Game

Australian streaming stars LazarBeam and Fresh have joined forces with Melbourne-based developers PlaySide Studios to create their own arena shooter game called World Boss.

Game Description and Features

World Boss is described as an “all versus all fast-paced arena combat shooter” on its Steam store page. It is currently available for wishlist and does not have a confirmed release date yet.

According to the Steam listing, the game will feature 16 players per lobby and includes a progressive system with unlockable perks and weapons, customizable builds and playstyles, and a rankings leaderboard.

Inspired by Fortnite

LazarBeam and Fresh, who are both prominent figures in the competitive Fortnite scene, have drawn inspiration from the popular battle royale game for World Boss. The game features a similar cartoony aesthetic and interface, as well as gameplay elements like large dome shields and jump pads.

Unique Features and Modes

World Boss also introduces unique features not typically found in Fortnite, such as perks, skills, and power-ups. It is not a battle royale game, but additional modes may be added in the future.
