Who is Nadeshot? Learn all about the founder of 100 Thieves

Meet Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag: From Pro Gamer to 100 Thieves CEO

Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag is a multi-talented individual. He started his gaming journey as a competitive player in ‘Halo 2’ and ‘Gears of War.’ However, after a setback in 2007, he switched to ‘Call of Duty 4’ and made his professional debut in 2008.

For five years, between 2010 and 2015, Nadeshot competed for OpTic Gaming, where he achieved great success and led his team to victory in several tournaments.

In April 2015, Nadeshot stepped down from his professional gaming career and pivoted into streaming. Despite leaving OpTic Gaming, he remained with the organization as a co-owner. However, he had bigger plans and eventually parted ways with them.

In 2016, Nadeshot co-founded 100 Thieves with Dan Gilbert, the owner of the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers. 100 Thieves has since grown into a prominent organization in the esports industry, with competitive teams in all major titles.
