Amouranth successfully withstands Pokimane’s strong competition, emerging as the first true threat to her Twitch dominance in 2021.

Amouranth Retains Title as Most Popular Female Twitch Streamer

According to recent stats from Streams Charts, Amouranth managed to retain her title as the most popular female Twitch streamer in May, beating out Pokimane.

Amouranth accumulated a staggering 2.15 million hours watched during her 261.5 hours of streaming in May. This equates to almost eight hours of streaming per day. Pokimane, on the other hand, finished in second place with 1.97 million hours watched.

Despite coming in second, Pokimane achieved this milestone with only 94 hours streamed, which is 167 hours less than Amouranth. In May, Pokimane primarily played VALORANT and covered the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard defamation trial.

Meanwhile, Amouranth focused on her Streamer Royale event, which was won by Meowri on May 28.

Pokimane’s ascent to the top is particularly noteworthy as she placed ninth in April with 1.02 million hours watched, according to Streams Charts. During that month, no female streamer came close to surpassing Amouranth’s numbers.
