Summer Games Done Quick 2022 Schedule Announced
Summer Games Done Quick 2022, the prominent speedrunning grand prix and charity event, is set to make its return this summer. The official schedule for the event has been announced, marking a significant milestone as it will be the first in-person SGDQ since 2019 and the first in-person Games Done Quick event since Awesome Games Done Quick 2020.
Since its inception, Games Done Quick has raised over $34 million for charity, supporting Doctors Without Borders and the Prevent Cancer Foundation. SGDQ 2022 aims to increase this total even further.
Attending the Event
SGDQ is returning to an in-person format after three years. The event will take place at the DoubleTree Hilton Bloomington in Minneapolis. Registration is open until May 23, with only 18 spots remaining out of the maximum capacity of 1,350 attendees. To secure a spot, participants must pay the $80 registration fee.
For the safety of all attendees, SGDQ 2022 requires full COVID-19 vaccination and proof of vaccination. Masks will also be mandatory, and social distancing measures will be implemented.
