Destiny once again faces Twitch ban

Popular Twitch Streamer Destiny Faces Another Ban on the Platform

Twitch streamer Destiny has once again been banned from the popular streaming platform, though no official reason has been given. The ban is believed to be a result of a stream on April 27, where explicit content was shown on camera by someone involved in a debate with the streamer.

Possible Violation of Community Guidelines Regarding Sexual Content

While Destiny himself was not responsible for showing the explicit content, it appears that he has been banned for violating Twitch’s community guidelines on sexual content.

Past Bans and Partnership Revocation

In 2020, Destiny faced multiple bans and lost his partnership with Twitch. Two of these bans were also due to the streamer displaying sexual content during his streams. There were concerns at the time that he may be permanently banned, but instead, his partnership was revoked.

The incident that led to Twitch severing their partnership with Destiny was a speech he gave on September 12, 2020, which the platform deemed as “inciting violence.” While he was not banned for this incident, there were consequences.

No Official Comment from Destiny

Currently, there is limited information available about this most recent ban, and Destiny himself has not provided any comment on the matter.

In the past, Destiny’s bans have typically lasted for three days, but Twitch has the authority to enforce suspensions for up to 30 days. Additionally, Twitch has taken permanent action against repeat offenders in the past.
