Gen.G announces new content creation roster for 2021 featuring Nemesis, Crownshot, Ryujehong, and others

Gen.G Extends Content Creation Team for 2021 with Exciting Signings

Gen.G, a prominent esports organization, has announced the extension of its content creation team for 2021. The team will consist of professional players from various esports, as well as gaming and media influencers. They will be producing Korean and English content on popular platforms like Twitch, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter.

Two notable signings for Gen.G’s League of Legends fans are mid laner Nemesis and AD carry Crownshot. However, their role will be different from their time as professional players in Europe. They will now be part of Gen.G’s League content team, contributing to the organization’s content creation efforts.

Both Nemesis and Crownshot had impressive performances in the LEC in 2020. Nemesis participated in his second World Championship with Fnatic, while Crownshot showed consistent strength throughout the year, even in SK Gaming’s sometimes inconsistent roster. During their offseason, both players focused on streaming and frequently appeared on co-streams of the LCS with analyst and community figure LS.

Their role as content creators in Korea will primarily involve live-reviewing matches while playing on the ladder, as stated by Gen.G’s COO Arnold Hur. This initiative aims to showcase the unique qualities of Gen.G’s League team and attract more international fans to the LCK roster.

In addition to Nemesis and Crownshot, Gen.G has also signed ex-LCK players Ambition and CuVee, who will contribute to the League content as streamers. They will collaborate with some of the biggest content creators in Korea, focusing on solo queue content. Ambition has been streaming under the Gen.G banner since retiring from competitive play in December 2018.

Gen.G has expanded its content creation team beyond League of Legends. The organization has welcomed back Seoul Dynasty legend Ryujehong for content creation in Overwatch. Influencers Emily Ghoul and Snitchery will also contribute to content creation in the broader gaming and culture sphere.

These new signings complete Gen.G’s dual-language content creation roster, aiming to increase the organization’s popularity as a global brand.
