Awesome Games Done Quick 2021: An Online Spectacle for a Worthy Cause
Get ready for seven days of mind-blowing speedruns as Awesome Games Done Quick 2021 Online approaches. This event aims to raise funds for the Prevent Cancer Foundation while showcasing impressive gaming talent.
From January 3rd to 10th, all the participants will be streaming their runs from the comfort of their own homes. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Summer Games Done Quick and other events in 2020 were conducted remotely to prioritize the safety of the participants and prevent the spread of the virus.
AGDQ’s previous edition set an impressive record by raising $3.1 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. This exceeded the previous record of $3,039,596 set at SGDQ 2019.
Despite the event being held remotely, you can still enjoy seven full days of thrilling speedruns while staying safe at home. If you’re interested in tuning in, AGDQ 2021 will be streamed live on the Games Done Quick Twitch channel. The broadcast will kick off with the “Pre-Show” at 10:30am CT and continue until the grand finale in the early hours of January 10th.
