WoW Streamer Staysafe Predicts Classic Burning Crusade Might Launch in May

Speculation Mounts on World of Warcraft Classic TBC Release Schedule

Now that World of Warcraft Classic has released all its content, players and streamers are wondering when Blizzard will incorporate Classic into a new expansion.

Blizzard has hinted at a potential Classic version of The Burning Crusade through questionnaires sent to random subscribers. However, no specific timetable has been discussed thus far.

Well-known WoW streamer, Staysafe, believes that a leaked release schedule for Classic TBC is likely true. In his latest YouTube video, he mentions a personal source who alerted him to a potential timeline for the release of Classic TBC.

In the video, Staysafe reveals that according to a post on forums, the beta test for Classic TBC could begin in mid-February. The post also suggests that a pre-patch could be expected in the second week of April, followed by the worldwide release of Classic TBC in the first week of May.

Staysafe expresses confidence in the validity of the leak, citing an anonymous source and posts on Twitter by Nano, a former team member of the private vanilla WoW legacy server called Nostalrius.

Interestingly, the leaked timeline aligns perfectly with Blizzard’s upcoming BlizzConline event on February 19 to 20. This event would be an ideal opportunity for Blizzard to make a major announcement regarding Classic TBC.

Staysafe speculates that Blizzard might even utilize the event to announce the Classic TBC release and simultaneously initiate beta testing.
