Ludwig Achieves One Million YouTube Subscribers, Gaining Over 200,000 in December

Ludwig Ahgren Hits 1 Million YouTube Subscribers: A Year of Explosive Growth

Ludwig Ahgren, a popular content creator, has achieved a remarkable milestone in his career. Just in time for the end of the year, he has reached the impressive milestone of one million subscribers on YouTube.

Although it seemed unlikely earlier this year, with Ludwig uploading daily videos, a recent surge in viewership and subscribers has propelled him past this goal. In the last 30 days alone, his subscriber count has increased by over 381 percent.

At the beginning of December, Ludwig had around 774,000 subscribers and was gaining an average of 5,000 subscribers per day, according to Social Blade analytics. However, from December 7 onwards, his average daily subscriber gain skyrocketed, with a low of 12,000 gained on December 10.

On multiple days, Ludwig experienced a substantial increase of over 20,000 subscribers, with his largest day being a gain of 28,000 on December 12, pushing him past the 900,000 milestone. Between December 7 and 14, he gained over 99,000 new subscribers in total.

Ludwig’s success is not limited to YouTube. His Twitch channel has also seen an increase in numbers, with his average viewership ranging from 10,000 to 17,000 viewers per stream in September, October, and November. In December, he consistently surpassed 20,000 average viewers on nearly every stream. On December 7, his Twitch channel reached one million followers, with his Pokémon Week content averaging at 62,665 viewers, according to Twitchmetrics.

The growth in Ludwig’s audience can be attributed to several factors. In addition to expanding his Twitch stream, he has collaborated with other influential creators and continuously explores new forms of content through live streams and his YouTube channel.

Recently, Ludwig has diversified his content by creating Minecraft videos featuring various creators, including the OfflineTV crew and Sykkuno. He has also released a Christmas album, fulfilling a joke he made earlier this year.

Ludwig is also set to host the Ludwig Ahgren Championship Series 3: Charity Edition, a Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament. This event, driven by a prize pool approaching $100,000, aims to support charity and protest against Nintendo’s cease and desist of The Big House Online last month.

The Ludwig Ahgren Championship Series 3: Charity Edition will take place on December 19 and 20, with the qualifiers being hosted live during the ongoing 5 Days of Melee charity event.
