XQc’s Return: Reinstated Following Twitch Rivals Stream-Sniping Controversy

XQc Returns to Twitch After Temporary Suspension

Popular Twitch streamer xQc has been unbanned today, following a one-week suspension. The suspension was a result of xQc stream-sniping other streamers during the Twitch Rivals’ GlitchCon event on November 18.

Consequences and Apology

In addition to the suspension, xQc has been banned from all Twitch Rivals events for six months. He has also forfeited his prize winnings from the GlitchCon tournament. xQc issued an apology for his actions during the event and expressed his willingness to match his forfeited winnings if they are donated to charity.

Difference from Previous Suspensions

This recent ban was different from xQc’s previous suspensions. The former Overwatch League pro usually reacts to YouTube videos during his streams, which was the cause of his previous bans.

His first and second suspensions came after he showed partial and complete nudity during streams in July 2019 and February 2020. The third ban occurred in June 2020 when he showed a video of gorillas engaging in sexual behavior.

xQc Plans to Stream Again Today

xQc has announced that he will be streaming today at 3pm CT.
