Streamer Mizkif Lets Chat Choose Name for New Kitten
Twitch streamer Mizkif involved his viewers in the exciting process of naming his new kitten.
During a recent stream, Mizkif played Marbles on Stream with his chat. He thought this would be a fun way to decide on a cat name. Together, Mizkif and his viewers selected five names, each assigned to marbles for a final match.
After the competition, the five marbles left standing were Mizkif, Linus, Sour Apple, Mew, and Holo.
In the match, the marbles competed until only one remained. Unfortunately for Mizkif, the winner was Linus.
Despite Mizkif’s partner Maya’s preference for the name Sour Apple, Mizkif honored the process and named the kitten Linus Pet Tips.
The chat was divided on whether the cat should be called Linus or Sour Apple. To settle the debate, Mizkif decided to run the marbles again.
In the second round, Sour Apple emerged as the winner, prompting Mizkif to have a one-vs-one tiebreaker. Linus ultimately prevailed, solidifying Mizkif’s choice of name.
Earlier in the stream, Maya surprised Mizkif with the kitten, which she found at the wildlife rehabilitation center where she works. The facility had taken in the kitten after a cat rescue refused to shelter it, mistaking it for a bobcat due to its short tail.
Throughout the stream, Mizkif suggested various names to the chat before ultimately leaving the decision to the marbles.
