Streamer Asmongold Pays Visit to Rogue Trainer Reckful in World of Warcraft
Popular World of Warcraft streamer Asmongold recently visited Rogue Trainer Reckful, a non-player character (NPC) added in the Shadowlands pre-patch to honor the late streamer Reckful.
A Special Encounter at the Cathedral of Light
During his stream, Asmongold joined many players who were gathered at the Cathedral of Light to interact with the new Rogue Trainer.
A Change in Location for Reckful’s NPC
Players who had access to the Shadowlands beta have been able to interact with the NPC for some time. However, Blizzard has made changes to Reckful’s in-game location.
The NPC has been relocated inside the Cathedral of Light. The character’s dialogue pays homage to Reckful, who achieved rank one in season five without playing the most common Rogue spec at the time. When interacting with the NPC, players are greeted with the dialogue “I don’t train Assassination Rogues” and given two response options: “I am in need of training, Reckful” and “It was good seeing you again.”
An Outpouring of Love for Reckful
In July, Reckful passed away at the age of 31. In response, thousands of players gathered in World of Warcraft to pay tribute to the late streamer at various locations around the game’s map. One of the most popular meeting spots was the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind, where the Reckful NPC can now be found.
While the release of the Shadowlands expansion has been delayed, players can still visit the Reckful NPC in the pre-patch.
