A Guide to Resolving the Orchid-Co22 Error in Hyper Scape

Hyper Scape Officially Launches with Server Errors on the Horizon

Hyper Scape, Ubisoft’s new battle royale game, was fully released on Aug. 11.

The game has been available for PC players since July 12, but the official release also included Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Ubisoft has confirmed that crossplay will be added in the future, however, server errors during launch have become a pressing issue.

While it’s expected to encounter bugs during a game’s launch, the long beta period of Hyper Scape should have helped Ubisoft address these issues before the full release.

The most common connectivity problem players face is the “orchid-co22” error, which often occurs when joining a new match. This error repeatedly kicks players out, instead of allowing them to wait and fill the server with more players.

If you encounter the error while searching for a game, exit the lobby immediately. Try rejoining, as this should reset your connection with the server. Alternatively, you can leave the game completely, wait a few minutes, and then find a new match to increase your chances of avoiding a faulty server.

Another common scenario that triggers the “orchid-co22” error is when Ubisoft releases a new update and players in the game attempt to join a new match. Since the servers are also updated, you need to close the game and check for a new patch to install. Installing the patch should resolve the orchid error.

As a precautionary measure, we recommend resetting your router during these processes. This can help ensure that there are no connection issues on your end by establishing a new connection with Hyper Scape‘s servers.

Additionally, keep an eye on Hyper Scape‘s official Twitter account for any updates on server-side errors. Recent posts regarding global server errors may indicate that the above solutions may not work, as Ubisoft would need to provide a fix.
