Over 300,000 viewers witnessed Dr Disrespect’s YouTube stream experiment

Dr Disrespect Makes Return to Streaming on YouTube

After being mysteriously banned from Twitch for over a month, Dr Disrespect has made a comeback to streaming on YouTube. However, his recent stream was only a test to ensure everything was working properly and to allow non-subscribers to join his YouTube channel. He has also introduced a $4.99 “Join” button, giving viewers the opportunity to become channel members and receive benefits similar to Twitch subscribers.

Impressive Viewer Numbers

In the first hour alone, the stream attracted over 330,000 viewers who were eager to see if Dr Disrespect would resume his normal streaming routine. Initially, it seemed like there was more to the stream with its rainy gas station backdrop and synthwave music, but it eventually turned out to be a 55-minute loop. Eventually, someone managing the stream on Dr Disrespect’s channel left a message for chat, confirming that he would be back the next day at 12pm PT.

Social Media Updates

Dr Disrespect even updated the link in his Twitter bio to his YouTube channel once the stream went live. Prior to that, he had teased his fans on Instagram live and released a new song called “Red Skies.” All of this generated a lot of excitement and interest among his followers.

Impressive YouTube Stats

According to Social Blade, Dr Disrespect gained over 160,000 subscribers and his videos, including the livestream, were viewed more than 1.45 million times. This is a significant increase compared to his usual average of about 100,000 views.

Dr Disrespect was banned from Twitch on June 26, and neither he nor the platform have provided much information about the ban. While Twitch does not disclose the reason or duration of bans, Dr Disrespect has stated that he was not informed of the specific reason for his ban.
