T-Pain Produces Exclusive Beats for Twitch Streamers During DMCA Chaos

Rapper T-Pain Offers Solution to Twitch Streamers Struggling with DMCA Notices

Twitch streamers have been facing difficulties due to an influx of DMCA notices, particularly in relation to playing background music during their streams. However, rapper T-Pain has stepped in to help.

During his personal Twitch stream, T-Pain discussed the ins and outs of DMCA and proposed a solution for streamers: use the beats he’s been creating.

T-Pain informed his viewers that if they’re unsure about what music to play as background noise on their streams, they can utilize his collection of beats. He even offered to compile the beats into a file that would be easily accessible to the public.

He stated, “You’ve got my blessing, bro. I’m going to give you all these beats that I’ve made, including the ones from Live and the challenges. You can use them on your streams.”

Furthermore, T-Pain assured streamers that they wouldn’t encounter any issues with DMCA notices if they played his released music from the past few years, as he owns the rights to that music.

While this means that streamers won’t be able to use some of his older hits, such as “Bartender” and “Buy U A Drank,” T-Pain emphasized that they wouldn’t receive any copyright strikes from him. It’s the music companies, such as Universal, Sony, and RCA, who hold the rights to the music and are responsible for issuing the DMCA notices.

T-Pain expressed his enthusiasm for hearing his music in streamers’ content, stating, “We get more excited than you do when we hear our songs in your streams. Especially if it’s a clip where you’re dominating. Don’t you think we want to see someone achieve a VTOL while our song is playing? If people are playing ‘Bartender’ or ‘Buy U A Drank’ and they get a nuke in Call of Duty, while my song is playing? Hell yeah, I’m reposting. What are you talking about?”
