Top Twitch Content of November 2022: GTA Takes Back the Crown, Warzone Emerges as a Strong Competitor

Grand Theft Auto V Takes Top Spot on Twitch in November

Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) has reclaimed its position as the most popular game on Twitch. After a few months of being overshadowed, it surged back to the top in November, thanks to the success of the NoPixel server. With a 7.2 percent increase in viewership, GTA V racked up an impressive 102.9 million hours watched, according to the latest data from StreamsCharts.

Meanwhile, League of Legends (LoL) saw a 40 percent drop in viewership after the conclusion of Worlds 2022. Despite the decline, LoL still managed to secure the second spot with 95 million hours watched.

Warzone Makes a Comeback on Twitch

One of the biggest surprises in November was the resurgence of Warzone. The release of Warzone 2 catapulted the game back into the top ten, even landing a spot in the top five. Warzone experienced a staggering 143 percent increase in viewership, drawing in a larger audience on Twitch.

CS:GO, known for its competitive gameplay, also saw a significant boost in viewership. It climbed from eighth to third place, enjoying a 57 percent increase in hours watched, thanks to the IEM Rio Major 2022 and BLAST Premier Fall 2022 Finals.

On the other hand, Overwatch 2 dropped from second place to sixth place in November. Despite a strong start in its initial month, the game failed to maintain its momentum.

As the December esports season approaches, it remains to be seen how the rankings will change. With most esports on a break during the festive season, GTA V has a good chance of continuing its dominance. The game serves as a reliable source of entertaining content, attracting a dedicated audience.
