VALORANT’s Latest Agents Shine in Premier Matches, but Remain Underutilized

Deadlock and Iso: The Underdogs with High Win Rates in VALORANT Premier

In the current Episode Seven, Act Three Premier season, two agents are defying expectations with their high win rates: Deadlock and Iso. However, despite their success, these agents are not as popular among players.

According to Blitz.gg, Deadlock and Iso have the highest win percentages among agents in the Premier season. However, their popularity doesn’t match their success. Iso has a pick rate of only 1.9 percent, while Deadlock’s pick rate is a mere 0.4 percent.

Why Iso is a Hidden Gem

Iso’s middling pick rate and high win rate can be attributed to his relative newness as an agent. With fewer matches in the Premier season, teams and players are less likely to rely on him. However, his unique abilities, including the useful Vulnerable ability, a bulletproof wall, and a game-changing ultimate for retakes, make him a force to be reckoned with.

Unveiling Deadlock’s Potential

Deadlock may not seem impressive at first glance, but her kit offers value to Premier teams. Her Barrier Mesh can slow down enemy executes and retakes, while her Annihilation ultimate excels in one-vs-one situations. However, her GravNet and Sonic Sensor abilities limit her overall popularity, even with recent buffs. As a result, her pick rate remains low, preventing a definitive conclusion about her efficacy. In Premier, the win rates of agents tend to hover around 50 percent.
