Riot Introduces New VALORANT Agent Iso in Episode Seven, Act Three
Riot Games has unveiled Iso, the latest agent to join the VALORANT roster in Episode Seven, Act Three. Iso is the first new duelist since Neon earlier this year, and players with exceptional aim will definitely want to get their hands on this aggressive agent.
Iso is designed to be more of an initiator-type character rather than a duelist. The VALORANT agent design team wanted him to feel like a slower “juggernaut” compared to the more agile duelists such as Raze, Jett, and Yoru. Iso comes with a bulletproof shield ability, an ability similar to Omen’s Paranoia that makes opposing players Vulnerable, the ability to farm shield orbs from enemy players he kills, and an ultimate that drags him and another enemy player into a one-vs-one arena in a stylish fashion.

If you’re eager to unlock Iso, here are the different methods you can use when Episode Seven, Act Three goes live on Oct. 31.
Complete the Iso Recruitment Event
In Episode Seven, Riot Games has introduced agent recruitment events, which are limited-time events that allow players to unlock new agents simply by playing the game without spending any credits or points. Deadlock was the first agent that players could unlock through this method.
During the first few weeks after Iso’s release, players can unlock him by earning 200,000 XP from playing matches and completing daily and weekly missions. There’s no need to sign up for the event; you’ll automatically be enrolled when you load up Episode Seven, Act Three for the first time.
Buy Iso with VALORANT Points or Wait for Kingdom Credits
If you can’t wait to unlock Iso, you have the option to instantly purchase his contract for 1,000 VALORANT points (equivalent to $10). Alternatively, you can use Kingdom Credits, which you earn from playing matches, to unlock new agents like Iso. However, Kingdom Credits can only be used once the active agent recruitment event ends. After the event, you’ll be able to buy Iso for 8,000 Kingdom Credits.
Unlock Iso via Xbox Game Pass
Players with an active Xbox Game Pass subscription who have linked their Riot account will have immediate access to all new agents as they are released, including Iso.
