VALORANT Patch 7.05: What to Expect
On September 6th, VALORANT Patch 7.05 will bring some minor but important changes to the game. Let’s take a look at what’s coming:
New Competitive Queue Restrictions
Riot Games is taking action against bot boosting and rank manipulation in VALORANT. Starting September 6th, players ranked Ascendant or higher will no longer be able to team up with players ranked below Platinum One, even in five-stack Competitive parties. This change aims to reduce instances of rank boosting and improve the overall experience for players.
Significant Astra Buff
Astra, one of the least popular agents in ranked play, is receiving a significant buff in Patch 7.05. She will now be able to hear all sound cues around her physical body while in her Astral Form, giving her more information and situational awareness.
Sunset Joins the Competitive Map Pool
The map “Sunset” will officially join the competitive map pool in Patch 7.05. This map has been playable in separate queues and modes, but now it will be available in competitive matches as well.
Bug Fixes
As usual, Patch 7.05 includes various bug fixes and improvements to the game. These fixes target some of the game’s most annoying bugs and enhance the overall gameplay experience.
