Consensus among VALORANT players: One Ranked tier exhibits significantly more toxicity

Which Rank is the Most Toxic in VALORANT?

Toxic players are a common occurrence in multiplayer games, including VALORANT. However, according to the community, there is one rank that stands out as the worst.

On Reddit, a player recently asked which rank is known for having the most toxic individuals. The majority of responses pointed towards Ascendant, the third highest rank in the game. Those who suggested this rank also provided valid reasons to support their claim.

Players mentioned that once players reach the skill level required for Ascendant, their egos skyrocket.

One player stated, “The higher you are, the more toxic, 1000000%. Think about it, in Iron/Bronze, you’re honestly lucky to have even two teammates with mics. But in Asc/Imm, you have guys who lack game sense but reached their rank based on aim alone and they think they’re the next TenZ.”

Insights from the Community

Interestingly, some high ranks like Radiant, considered the best in the game, were mentioned as having fewer toxic players. One comment mentioned, “They’re more chill because they’re a small refined group of people. Streamers, content creators, and pros tend to be much more relaxed.”

Comparison to Other Games

It’s often believed that low ranks in other games, such as Bronze and Silver in VALORANT and League of Legends, or Silver and Gold in CS:GO, have the most toxic players. However, as some users noted, players in these ranks tend to communicate less and have a more easy-going attitude.

Personally, I find it hard to disagree with these observations. As someone who has been stuck in low ranks in various games, I’ve encountered many toxic individuals. However, most of them prefer not to communicate rather than being outright toxic.
