Sinatraa’s Journey with PROD in Challengers Concludes

Stream Team Fails to Qualify for VALORANT North American Challengers Last Chance Qualifier

A stream team, led by streamer Connor “PROD” Moran, fell in the third round of the lower bracket in the VALORANT North American Challengers last chance qualifier. The team, named “UNTAMABLE BEASTS,” included former OpTic Gaming player Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen, streamer Coby “dizzy” Meadows, and former Sentinels players Jay “Sinatraa” Won and Jared “zombs” Gitlin.

The primary goal of the team was to entertain fans rather than secure qualification for the Challengers circuit. Despite this, their tournament run garnered a large viewership, with Sinatraa alone reaching a peak of around 45,000 viewers on TwitchTracker during the first day of the tournament on Jan. 17.

The team performed well in the early matches, but faced a setback with a 2-1 defeat to “Nearest Airport” in the round of 16 in the upper bracket. UNTAMABLE BEASTS managed to defeat Team Reckaroo in the second round of the lower bracket, but ultimately lost to “City Boys,” finishing in the top 16.

Fans criticized PROD’s performance in the final match, where he only achieved 11 kills across two maps with an average damage per round of 76. It is worth noting that PROD is the only player on the roster who has not yet competed at a professional level in an esport.
