Former VALORANT Game Changers Player Lara “Larischz” Gilardoni Passes Away at 27

Lara “Larischz” Gilardoni, a former player in the VALORANT Game Changers circuit, has tragically passed away at the age of 27.

Cause of Death Yet to be Determined

Although the cause of her death has not been determined, it has been reported that she passed away today while on vacation in Pinamar, a coastal city in Argentina. The news was first reported by Brazilian news outlet VALORANT Zone.

A Prominent Competitor in the Brazilian Esports Scene

Throughout her time in the Brazil Game Changers circuit, Larischz competed with various teams. Most recently, she played for DELIRA Female in the Esportsmaker Spike Ladies No. 4 tournament, which concluded on October 29.

DELIRA Female emerged victorious in the tournament, which had a prize pool of $2,849 USD (15,000 BRL). In the grand final, they defeated Black Dragons Female with Larischz playing a crucial role on the team. She showcased her skills using different agents including Killjoy, Omen, Cypher, and Brimstone.

In mid-October, Larischz also participated in the VCT 2022: Game Changers Brazil Series Two. Her team finished in the top six of the tournament, experiencing a defeat against Gamelanders Purple in the upper quarterfinals and subsequently losing to B4 Angels in the lower bracket semifinals.

Keyd Stars and Protocolo: Evolução

Prior to her time with DELIRA Female, Larischz played for Keyd Stars, one of the most well-known organizations in Brazilian VALORANT. Under the banner of Keyd Stars Athenas, the team achieved a top-six finish in the Protocolo: Evolução tournament, competing against teams such as Gamelanders Purple, B4 Angels, and Havan Liberty Female.
