100 Thieves’ Asuna Identifies Cloud9 as Strongest Competitors for VCT Americas 2023 Season
Two North American teams, Cloud9 and 100 Thieves, are emerging as the frontrunners for the upcoming VCT Americas 2023 season. Asuna from 100 Thieves highlighted the dedication and preparation of both teams in a recent interview with Inven Global.
When asked about standout teams, Asuna confidently named 100 Thieves and Cloud9. He emphasized the amount of practice both squads have been putting in since last month, setting them apart from other teams who are taking a break. According to Asuna, Cloud9 has been practicing as diligently as 100 Thieves since November.
Asuna went on to discuss the team’s bootcamp and the focus on developing synergy amongst the members. Their goal is to align their thinking and improve their gameplay. Asuna firmly believes that they are better because of this collaborative effort.
100 Thieves will be competing in the VCT 2023: Americas League starting on March 26, 2023. Prior to that, they will also be participating in the VCT 2023: Lock In tournament, commencing on Feb. 13.
