Looking to the stars: KOI seeks its next VALORANT player ahead of the 2023 VCT season.

Spanish organization KOI reveals VALORANT roster ahead of 2023 VCT season

After much anticipation, Spanish organization KOI, founded by streaming superstar Ibai Llanos and retired football star Gerard Piqué, has finally unveiled its VALORANT roster. However, there is still one spot left to be filled in the starting lineup.

A Promising Lineup

The KOI roster includes former Guild players Jose “koldamenta” Herrero, Nikita “trexx” Cherednichenko, and coach André “BARBARR” Möller. Joining them are ex-Gambit/M3C member Bogdan “Sheydos” Naumov and Berkant “Wolfen” Joshkun.

Upcoming Addition

Rumors suggest that Patryk “starxo” Kopczynski, the former inaugural world champion with Acend, will fill the remaining spot in the starting lineup. Reports from October indicate that starxo, koldamenta, and Sheydos were all set to join KOI, according to multiple sources.

Awaiting Confirmation

Many fans speculate that starxo will join KOI in early 2023 after his current contract with Acend expires. Several of his former world championship teammates have already found new teams, such as cNed with NAVI, BONECOLD with Vitality, and Zeek with Heretics.

KOI’s Partnership with Rogue

KOI announced a partnership with the Rogue organization in October, which means that Rogue League players and staff will compete under the KOI banner in the 2023 spring split of the LEC.

Once KOI finalizes their roster, all 30 partnered VCT teams will have their official starting lineups. Fans can now eagerly anticipate the VCT LOCK//IN São Paulo event, starting on February 13.
