A player in VALORANT found themselves soaring through the sky after being hit by Breach’s ultimate ability. Despite the unexpected launch, they managed to clutch the round with an impressive play.
The Game-Changing Blast
On Ascent’s A site, the player held their ground and eliminated two enemies who pushed into the site. Just as they turned their attention to the other entrance, the enemy Breach unleashed his Rolling Thunder ultimate ability. This ability concusses and knocks up players caught in its blast.
An Unexpected Ascension
However, this time, the ability launched the player much higher into the air than usual, granting them an aerial view of the entire map. While initially confused by the blast, the player quickly refocused on winning the round. They swiftly eliminated the remaining enemies, securing the round for their team.
Potential Dangers and Skybox Glitches
The cause of this powerful blast remains unclear, and it is uncertain if it can be replicated. Typically, players are only slightly launched into the air when hit by the ability, not reaching the height achieved by this player. Such extreme launches could prove hazardous if players have low health and fall from greater distances, potentially causing fatal fall damage.
Although players have discovered various glitches related to the skybox on Ascent, it does not appear possible to reach the skybox using this tactic.
Breach players can significantly displace or damage their enemies if they are able to consistently launch them high into the air. However, this unlikely scenario should still serve as a cautionary note for players in A Heaven when facing an enemy Breach.
