Guide to Viewing First Strike, Riot’s Inaugural VALORANT Tournament

The global success of the Ignition Series has paved the way for VALORANT’s first major tournament, First Strike. The qualifiers will begin in October and include teams from North America, Europe, CIS, Turkey, Asia, Oceania, Brazil, and the Middle East. The tournament will conclude with multiple regional finals later this year.

If you’re interested in watching First Strike, here’s how you can do it.

Format

The event is divided into three sections: NSG qualifiers, UMG qualifiers, and regional finals.

All matches in the qualifiers and regional finals will be best-of-three, while the grand finals for each event will be best-of-five. The regional finals will feature four teams from each of the NSG and UMG qualifiers.
