Following the Riyadh Masters 2023 in Saudi Arabia in July, attention shifted to qualifiers for Dota 2’s The International. The tournament is set to take place in Seattle, U.S. in October, and with qualifiers coming up in a week, there wasn’t much time for another event.
However, BetBoom partnered with Armenian event organizer FISSURE to host the BetBoom Dacha, a casual event with a relaxed atmosphere similar to Beyond The Summit’s “The Summit.”
Featuring seven invites including multiple TI-qualified rosters and an online stage with big names, the BetBoom Dacha provided a chill and fun end to the main season before the intense competition at The International.

The BetBoom Dacha had two main stages, each with its own segments.
– Stage One: Online Stage (Aug. 8 to 13)
– Eight invited teams were split into two groups and competed in a double-elimination play-in bracket. The winners from the upper and lower brackets advanced to the decider bracket, while the rest were eliminated.
– The remaining four teams went through another double-elimination bracket, with the winner joining the seven direct invites at the offline stage of BetBoom Dacha.
– Stage Two: LAN Finals (Sept. 10 to 16)
– The online stage qualifier joined the seven invited teams in Yerevan, Armenia, for the offline finals. The event took place in a house in the Armenian capital and had a more relaxed atmosphere with amenities like a pool and BBQ grill.
– The teams were divided into two groups and played a round-robin stage with best-of-two matches. The top two teams advanced to the upper bracket playoffs, while the third-place team started in the lower bracket. The remaining teams were eliminated.
– The playoff stage featured a double-elimination bracket, with all matches being best-of-three except for the grand final, which was best-of-five.
