From Teddy Bears to Wolves: xNova Joins BOOM Esports for Dota 2 Season 2023

BOOM Esports Announces New Dota 2 Roster for 2023 DPC Season

BOOM Esports has made significant changes to its Dota 2 roster for the upcoming 2023 DPC season. The team bid farewell to JaCkky, TIMS, and skem, while retaining the Yopaj-Fbz core. To strengthen their lineup, BOOM has added xNova, Xepher, and Natsumi.

xNova Returns to SEA Region

In November, xNova announced his free agency and expressed his willingness to relocate. His fans in the SEA region were delighted when it was confirmed that he would be making his grand return to play in the SEA DPC. This marks the end of xNova’s time in China, where he had some memorable Dota events. During TI11, he even had to play alone on stage with teddy bears due to health issues faced by RNG.

New Additions to BOOM Esports Roster

BOOM has finalized its roster with the inclusion of Natsumi, who recently left Polaris Esports, and Xepher, who spent the past two years at T1. Mushi, one of the region’s most iconic players, will continue to coach the team.

Preparing for the 2023 Pro Circuit

BOOM Esports, despite dominating the SEA DPC last season, faces tough competition from the likes of Blacklist International. With a month to prepare for the upcoming season, teams that can blend well and adapt quickly will have the advantage in the initial tournaments.
