Can Ignites be Stacked in League of Legends?

Understanding the Power of Ignite in League of Legends

Ignite is a highly useful and popular spell in League of Legends that every player should be familiar with.

It deals direct damage that cannot be reduced by Armor or Magic Resistance. Ranging from a minimum of seventy to a maximum of four hundred ten damage, Ignite packs a punch.

The true power of Ignite lies in the fact that it continues to damage the target over a period of five seconds. Additionally, it grants true vision of the target and applies forty percent Grievous Wounds, significantly reducing any healing effects they receive.

Once an enemy champion is Ignited, they become visible to both you and your allies no matter where they are or what abilities they use. This provides a critical advantage in tracking their movements.

However, it’s important to note that Ignite does not stack. If you Ignite an enemy that is already Ignited, they will not take double damage. Instead, the Ignite effect will simply be refreshed. This means that using Ignite on an already Ignited enemy may not always be the best strategy.
