New VALORANT Leak Unveils VCT Champions Skin Bundle, Potentially Outshining Prime

The Upcoming VALORANT Champions 2023 Skin Bundle: Leaks, Design, and Release

Thanks to leaks from the community, VALORANT fans now have a glimpse of what the upcoming VCT Champions 2023 skin bundle will look like. While details such as the release date and price are still unknown, fans are already worried about the impact it will have on their wallets.

According to a tweet from reputable leak account ValorLeaks, Champions will have a unique Vandal skin and knife skin available in the VALORANT store for the second time in its three-year history.

The new bundle deviates from the traditional black and red color scheme seen in previous skins and instead takes inspiration from the popular Prime Vandal skin. It features a brooding black and violet base with gold highlights and a slightly translucent VCT and VALORANT logo.

The knife included in the bundle resembles Jett’s knives used during her Blade Storm ultimate. It has a purple hilt with the VCT logo engraved in gold, similar to the GO! Jett knife in VALORANT.

As this information comes from a community leak, the exact release date of the bundle is still unknown. However, based on previous years’ release schedules, it is likely to be available when the Champions 2023 event begins on Aug. 6.

Early impressions from the community are positive, with fans enjoying this variation of the Champions skin, despite it being the second Vandal skin in the lineup. Some players even jokingly express their willingness to spend money on the bundle, with some resorting to drastic measures (albeit unlikely).

VCT Champions competitors are aware of the importance of this bundle to their teams and themselves. Half of the profits from the bundle will be shared among the teams competing at VCT Champions, which means the better the bundle sells, the higher each player’s cut.

While the price of the bundle is still unknown, last year’s VCT Champions 2022 bundle, which included a Phantom and butterfly knife skin, was priced at 6,167 VP. This was slightly lower than the 2021 bundle, which featured a Vandal skin and knife and cost 6,263 VP. If the trend continues, we can expect the price to be around 6,000 to 6,100 VP.

Make sure to keep an eye on the shop leading up to Champions 2023 to get your hands on this new bundle and support the players competing in Los Angeles. VCT Champions will run from Aug. 6 to Aug. 26, with the bundle available for sale throughout the tournament and possibly a few days after it ends.
