Misfits Acquires Former Team SoloMid Roster
Misfits has acquired the former roster of Team SoloMid just hours after their departure. The ex-TSM squad decided to leave the organization in order to team up with their in-game leader, Sean Gares, who was heavily criticized during the PEA controversy. Misfits made the announcement of their expansion into the Counter-Strike scene through a comedic YouTube video posted on Twitter. The new roster includes:
- Sean “sg@res” Gares
- Russel “Twistzz” David Van Dulken
- Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan
- Skyler “Relyks” Weaver
- Hunter “SicK” Mims
This is Misfits’ sixth venture into the world of esports, joining the ranks of League of Legends, Overwatch, Super Smash Bros., Hearthstone, and Heroes of the Storm. It will be interesting to see the path that Misfits takes to lead the former TSM roster, as they prepare to compete in Season 5 of the ESL Pro League.
