Giants finalizes its 2023 VALORANT lineup, adding ex-G2 and NAVI players

Giants Gaming Announces Starting Roster for VALORANT Champions Tour 2023

Adding to the excitement surrounding the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour 2023, Giants Gaming has officially announced its starting roster. With a focus on building a strong team, Giants has brought on Adolfo “Fit1nho” Gallego, Žygimantas “nukkye” Chmieliauskas, Aaro “hoody” Peltokangas, Kirill “Cloud” Nehozhin, and Emir “rhyme” Muminovic from various teams. Additionally, Giants has enlisted the former G2 coach, Daniil “pipsoN” Meshcheryakov.

In preparation for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023, G2 had planned to move to the Americas league. This decision made nukkye and hoody available for other teams. NAVI also allowed Cloud to join Giants as they focused on building a strong roster. Rhyme, who played for Gen.G in North America last year, left the team prior to their move to the Pacific league.

With the addition of the G2 core to the Giants roster, the team now boasts an abundance of international LAN experience. Fit1nho will take on the primary duelist role, rhyme will serve as the in-game leader and controller, Cloud will be the primary initiator, hoody will play the sentinel role, and nukkye will fill the flex role.

While most of the teams in the Americas and Pacific leagues have already announced their complete rosters, several teams in EMEA are still finalizing theirs. Liquid, Vitality, Karmine Corp, Heretics, and KOI have yet to confirm their respective lineups, and both NAVI and Fnatic just recently finalized their rosters.

Mark your calendars as all 30 partnered teams will be competing at the VCT 2023 Kickoff event in Sao Paulo, Brazil this coming February.
