FaZe Clan Hosts FaZe Smeag’s All Star Weekend Valorant Tournament with $50,000 Prize
FaZe Clan is hosting a new Valorant tournament called FaZe Smeag’s All Star Weekend, featuring Valorant stars. The tournament will bring Valorant personalities together to compete for a $50,000 grand prize.
Tournament Details
The All Star Weekend begins on Nov. 5 at 5pm CT with a team draft, followed by the start of the games. Players like Trent Cairns, Derrek Ha, Ryan “Shanks” Ngo, Jonas “AverageJonas” Navarsete, Daniel “eeiu” Vucenovic, Tarık Çelik, and Jaccob “yay” Whitaker will participate in a snake draft to try and win the grand prize.
The Battle for Victory
The tournament will start with captains selecting their teams on Nov. 5. These chosen teams will then compete in a double-elimination best-of-one bracket until only two teams remain. The final two teams will battle it out in a best-of-three grand final for the chance to win the grand prize and five PCs to give away to their communities. The winner will be crowned on Nov. 6.
How to Watch
The event will be hosted by babybay and Mimi “aEvilcat” Wermcantz. Fans can watch the draft and games on babybay’s Twitch channel, while the games will also be streamed on FaZe Clan’s Twitch channel.
This tournament is a great opportunity for fans to see these players compete again, as it has been a while since Champions ended earlier this year. In addition to FaZe Smeag’s All Star Weekend, there are other upcoming OFF//SEASON events planned for Valorant, including BoomTV Valorant Select starting on Nov. 8 and the Ludwig x Tarik Invitational on Jan. 14, 2023.
