NFL free agent running back joins Rocket League team prior to offseason commencement

Rocket League Team Dignitas Re-Signs NFL Player Boston Scott as Brand Ambassador and Content Creator

The 2023 NFL offseason is yet to officially begin, but running back Boston Scott is already making moves. Scott, who recently played in the Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles, has signed a new deal with Rocket League team Dignitas.

Dignitas announced last night that Scott will continue to be a part of their organization as a member of the Rocket League roster, albeit as a substitute player. In addition to his gaming duties, Scott will also serve as a brand ambassador and content creator for Dignitas.

Scott initially signed with Dignitas in February last year, and his partnership with the organization has only grown stronger since then. He has even had a custom in-game car designed for and inspired by him in Rocket League. Scott has also showcased his gaming skills in Fortnite, where he finished fourth overall at the Twitch Rivals: Streamer Bowl III.

“I’m incredibly grateful to the Rocket League community for welcoming me with open arms, and I’m proud to represent the game’s most successful Rocket League organization,” said Scott in a press release from Dignitas.

Scott’s decision to re-sign with Dignitas comes shortly after his participation in the Super Bowl. During the 2022 NFL season, he rushed for 217 yards and three touchdowns without committing any fumbles. Scott also scored touchdowns in the Eagles’ playoff victories against the New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers. As an NFL player, Scott will enter unrestricted free agency this offseason.
