Rocket League’s Frosty Fest Returns with New Winter Content

The annual winter event in Rocket League, Frosty Fest, is making a comeback. This event brings in exciting new features such as winter-themed items, limited-time modes, and more.

Starting from 11am CT on Dec. 16, players will have access to Frosty Fest Challenges. By completing these challenges, players can unlock special festive items like Ring-a-Ling Wheels, the “Abominable Throwman” Player Title, new decals, and much more. Additionally, all players will be able to claim a Ski-Free Player Banner from the Item Shop before the event concludes.

A new “Frosty Pack” item bundle will also be available in the Item Shop for 1,100 Credits. This bundle includes the following items:

  • Tygris (Crimson Painted)
  • Frostbite Boost (Forest Green Painted)
  • Wonderment Wheels (Crimson Painted)
  • Sub-Zero Goal Explosion (Forest Green Painted)

Golden Gifts will also be making a return. Players can complete corresponding challenges up to five times to unlock special items from the Zephyr, Elevation, and Vindicator Item Series.

During Frost Fest, players will have the opportunity to play on a seasonal variant of Beckwith Park in Ranked, Casual, and Private matches. Additionally, Winter Breakaway and Spike Rush will be featured as limited-time modes.

The Frosty Fest event will run from Dec. 16 until the end of 2021. During this time, the Psyonix team will take a break and prepare for more exciting content in Rocket League and its mobile spin-off, Rocket League Sideswipe.
