Former Dota 2 Pro Frustrated by Long Queue Times
Niklas “Wagamama” Högström, a former Dota 2 pro turned streamer, recently vented his frustrations on social media after spending nearly four hours trying to find a game. He watched as his friends found matches while he waited patiently.
Despite his efforts, Wagamama struggled to find a game, reaching the 94-minute mark with no luck. Frustrated, he exclaimed, “Of course, they got a fucking game!”
After seeing his friends play and finish two games before his turn, he pleaded to GabeN, the Dota 2 game developer, for help. Eventually, he did find a game after three hours and fifty minutes of waiting, but it was plagued with smurf accounts.
He took to social media to express his disappointment, stating, “Today, I queued for 3 hours and 50 minutes to find ONE game. The game had 7/8 possible smurfs. Dota 2 fucking disappoints me.”
Long Queue Times are Frustrating
Wagamama shared his frustration with his viewers, emphasizing that waiting over 30 minutes for a game of all pick in Dota 2 is unacceptable. While this may not be his first “disaster queue,” he believes that waiting times of 40+ minutes are too common and something needs to change.
