Acend and Kiles part ways

Acend Releases VALORANT Player Kiles from Contract

Acend has announced that they have released VALORANT player Vladyslav “Kiles” Shvets from his contract, less than a month after placing him on the bench.

Kiles had been with Acend since March 2021 and played a crucial role in the team winning multiple tournaments, including the VALORANT Champions in December 2021, which is considered the most important event for Riot Games’ FPS. Following Acend’s failure to qualify for VCT Masters One Reykjavík in March, Kiles and Santeri “BONECOLD” Sassi were moved to the bench after finishing the group stage with a 2-3 record.

Acend Thanks Kiles and Wishes Him the Best

In an official statement, Acend expressed their gratitude towards Kiles, stating, “He was with us from the very beginning and took us all the way to champions. We thank him for everything that he has done and wish him nothing but the best in his next adventure.”

New Players Practicing with Acend?

Even before Kiles was benched in early April, sources have revealed that Acend has been practicing with Wave Yiğithan “DeepMans” Kesici and David “Fizzy” Figueiredo. However, it is uncertain if these two players will join the winners of VALORANT Champions 2021. DeepMans is currently on Wave Esports’ bench, while Fizzy left Team BDS in March.

The Future of Acend’s VALORANT Roster

At present, Acend’s VALORANT roster consists of Mehmet Yağız “cNed” İpek, Patryk “starxo” Kopczyński, Aleksander “zeek” Zygmunt, and BONECOLD, who remains on the bench for now. The organization is expected to make changes to its roster before the second part of the 2022 season.
