He’s become one of the most well-known figures in the VALORANT community, thanks to his impressive achievements and his infectious energy. Jake “Boaster” Howlett hails from the United Kingdom and started his VALORANT career with SUMN FC in August 2020. He later joined Fnatic in February the following year. Boaster is known for his versatility as he excels with a variety of agents in the game, including Astra, Sova, and Skye.
One of Boaster’s notable achievements in the VALORANT scene is his multiple victories in European region VCT events with Fnatic. He has also led his team to successful runs in international VALORANT events, including the championship win at VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo.
Like many VALORANT players, Boaster has a background in professional play in another popular tactical shooter, CS:GO. He competed in the CS:GO circuit from 2015 to 2019 before taking a break and transitioning to VALORANT in 2020.
