Release, Features, and How to Play the VALORANT Team Deathmatch Mode

VALORANT’s Team Deathmatch Mode: Everything You Need to Know

If you’re not a fan of VALORANT’s unpredictable Deathmatch mode, there’s good news. A new variation called Team Deathmatch is on its way to spice up your warmup routine in the tactical shooter game. This new mode allows you to team up with others and practice your aim with your favorite agent and weapons. It’s a great way to prepare for ranked matches.

The release of Team Deathmatch is just a couple of weeks away. Riot Games, the developer of VALORANT, has announced the features you can expect from this mode. Here’s what you need to know.

When will Team Deathmatch launch in VALORANT?

Team Deathmatch will be playable from the start of Episode Seven, according to Riot game director Andy Ho. The launch date for this mode is confirmed in the TDM announcement video. Currently, Episode Six, Act Three is coming to an end on June 27th. The new Episode will begin on the same day, so you can expect to be able to play Team Deathmatch right after you download the seasonal patch on June 27th.

All VALORANT Team Deathmatch gameplay features

In Team Deathmatch mode, two teams of five players compete against each other in a race to get 100 kills within a 10-minute time limit. The mode is divided into four timed stages, each featuring specific weapons. Here are the weapons for each stage:
– Stage 1: Pistols
– Stage 2: Ares, Stinger, Sheriff
– Stage 3: Spectre, Bulldog, Guardian, Ares
– Stage 4: Vandal, Phantom

Team Deathmatch also introduces new maps designed specifically for this mode. These maps, District, Piazza, and Kasbah, have a similar style to the standard maps but are tailored for the TDM experience. They don’t have spike sites, only player spawns, and they have more obstacles and objects for players to hide around and peek from.

In this mode, players can choose their loadout for each stage at the start of the match or when they find themselves in the spawn area. Weapon spawners placed around fixed locations offer stage-specific weapons for pickup, but with limited ammo. Players can also pick up recovery orbs to heal health and shields, as well as Ultimate orbs. Each match of Team Deathmatch grants 1000 XP.
