Brazilian VALORANT superstar poised to join KRÜ Esports, report suggests

KRÜ Esports Close to Signing Former Ninjas in Pyjamas VALORANT Star

After releasing three players from their roster, KRÜ Esports is reportedly close to signing former Ninjas in Pyjamas VALORANT star Alexandre “xand” Zizi. The decision to upgrade the team comes after being accepted into the Americas league for 2023, where teams from Brazil, LATAM, and North America will join forces. This move aims to strengthen the core of KRÜ Esports to remain competitive in the upcoming season.

Language Barrier Not an Issue for KRÜ Esports

According to reports, xand would be the first player signed by KRÜ Esports who is not from Chile or Argentina. However, the communication within the team would not be hindered as xand can speak Spanish. This would allow him to easily communicate with his new teammates if the deal is finalized.

Ninjas in Pyjamas Release Entire Roster

After participating in the LATAM Challengers series and attending Masters: Reykjavík, Ninjas in Pyjamas did not achieve a high placement in the tournament. They also applied for Riot Games’ VALORANT partnership program but were rejected. Subsequently, the organization released its entire roster, giving players like xand the opportunity to explore other options.

KRÜ Esports’ Offseason Plans

Even if KRÜ Esports signs xand, they still need to fill two more slots on their team during the offseason. With numerous North American players currently without teams, there are plenty of options available for KRÜ Esports to complete their roster.
